I would like to share another Judy Blume book this week, "Superfudge." In my last blog, I shared the book "Tales of the Fourth Grade Nothing" by Judy Blume. I suggest reading "Tales of the Fourth Grade Nothing" first but then following that book with "Superfudge" as it is the sequel. This book is another story based on the hilarious, interesting Hatcher family. Peter Hatcher is again the main protagonist, but this time there is a new addition to the Hatcher family. This new family member causes Fudge, Peter's little, mischievious brother to act out in a manner that creates humor to keep you sucked in to the book to find out what Fudge will do next. I highly recommend reading this book.
I remember reading this story in elementary, actually my teacher read it to us after lunch. There is truly something magical about read alouds, especially with great books like this and others from Mrs. Judy Bloom. I want to share these same stories with my future students.
