Great Resource- Delicious
I would like to share a wonderful social bookmarking site. For those of you whom may not be familiar with a social bookmarking site, it is a tool for sharing, organizing and managing bookmarks. Bookmarks are simply "favorite" websites or internet resources that can be accessed quickly. For example, Delicious allows for references or tags to be shared that lead to great resources but not necessarily the resource itself. This may sound a little confusing at first, but here is a link to the site www.delicious.com I highly recommend browsing through this site to get a better feel for how social networking can greatly improve teacher to teacher relationships and the sharing of great resources.

I actually have a delicious account already! It was required for a past class. It is a wonderful resource to use when children get on the internet. If we only allow our students to go to our delicious page, they can get to other educational websites safely.
ReplyDeleteI agree that this is a great site, and I actually have an account too! It is a good resource to have. It is a way to save certain sites and share them with other teachers and children.
