The book I chose to read this week is called Harry the Dirty Dog by Gene Zion, Illustrations by Margaret Bloy Graham. I read this book as a child and I decided to re read it as an adult. I have this book as a collection in my house as well as I found it on the storyline online website that we had to explore for this week’s book club. This is a cute story about a white dog with black spots who never wanted to take a bath. He went out into the world and got all dirty and became a black dog with white spots. His family did not even recognize him when he came home and he became sad. Therefore he decided to take a bath and was happily at home.
