My Favorite Resource- Reading A-Z
My favorite resource is Reading A-Z. This is an online resource with thousands of resources within. In working with special education teachers and children over the last ten years, I have learned of many excellent resources. This is one of the best because it provides so many resources for teaching and learning. I have used the leveled books for many things including literature circles, assessment, and choral reading. This is a subscription site but they offer many samples that are free to try the site. When I become a teacher, I will subscribe to this site because it is enriched with so many things teachers need to teach reading. Below is a partial list of what the site contains. Explore and Enjoy!

Cheri-Thank you so much for sharing this resource! It will be so helpful in my future classroom to help struggling readers, but also evaluate all of the students in my class to decipher what I can do for them to benefit the most. I also really liked the assessments section because it gives teachers a guideline of what to expect and what to grade on.
ReplyDeleteThanks Meredith. I am glad you like it. The teachers I work with and I were introduced to it a couple of years ago by a reading specialist. They are always adding new things to the site too. I cannot wait to subscribe when I am a special education/reading specialist teacher.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing this resource! I liked how you provided the different links to choose from. When I become a teacher or maybe sometime during the blocks this will definitely be a good website to subscribe to! It is nice to know that the site is updated as well. I have not heard of this site before now, so thank you and im glad you enjoyed it!
